Brass Tripod Floor Lamp, Denmark c.1965

Solid brass throughout, with the deep uneven patina that only comes from six decades of being touched. The conical shade is original and retains its parchment lining, lightly foxed at the upper rim. Rewired for European supply with a fabric flex; the original switch has been kept and works.

Provenance

Bought at a house clearance in Aarhus. Unmarked; the construction is consistent with several small Danish workshops of the period and we do not attribute it to any of them.
